Installation via LifePlay Mods Flix

This option is the easiest way to install the Remake.

1- Download and install LifePlay Mods Flix

2- Open LifePlay Mods Flix and search for the mod called "The LifePlay Remake [Overhaul]", once found, click on it. Then click on the blue button called "Update/Install Selected Mod", to install it.

3- Start a game, configure your character and the stats offered, to your taste.

4- Then, open the modmanager included in the game, by clicking on ESC + Setting, and make sure that the vin_Base and rk_vin_Base mods are activated.
Ctrl + M: Can also open the mod manager

5- Finally, activate any Mods compatible with LP Remake you want.

6- If you find any bug let me know, I will try to fix it ASAP.

For updating via LifePlay Mods Flix
Do the same thing you did when you first installed it!

Manual installation

1- Go to "official Github repo" to download the zip file.

2- Extract the content of "Remake1Modules.zip" somewhere on your PC.
When extracting the contents, you will get a folder called "Remake1Modules" containing all the mods.

3- In a new windows, open: ...\LifePlay\Content\Modules\ and highlight these folders:

\Modules\vin_Base
\Modules\vin_BDSM
\Modules\vin_Corruption
\Modules\vin_Interracial
\Modules\vin_Lactation
\Modules\vin_Netori
\Modules\vin_OldYoung
\Modules\vin_NTR
\Modules\vin_Polyamorous
\Modules\vin_Pregnancy
\Modules\vin_Tentacles
\Modules\vin_Vore

- Then move them outside of your LifePlay installation (For backup).
- Now your Modules folder are not supposed to contain any mods starting with vin_.

4- Now, open "Remake1Modules" folder, copy all mods to : ...\LifePlay\Content\Modules.

5- Make sure you don't leave an extra directory level for the mod.

6- After the mod have been installed, make sure the mods rk_vin_Base and vin_Base are activated in the Mod Manager.
Ctrl + M: Open mod manager

7- Finally, activate any Mods compatible with LP Remake you want.

8- If you find any bug let me know, I will try to fix it ASAP.

\Modules\vin_Lactation
\Modules\vin_Netori
\Modules\vin_OldYoung
\Modules\vin_NTR
\Modules\vin_Polyamorous
\Modules\vin_Pregnancy
\Modules\vin_Tentacles

6- Copy/move the highlighted folders, to: ...\LifePlay\Content\Modules\

7- Make sure you don't leave an extra directory level for the mod.

8- After the mod have been installed, make sure the mods rk_vin_Base and vin_Base are active in the Mod Manager.
Ctrl + M: Open mod manager

9- Finally, activate any compatible mods you want.

10- If you find any bug let me know, I will try to fix it ASAP.

Is it safe to assume that this installation guide is intended for an older version and, as such, there may be a few differences since it was written?

With the current version (Overhaul v1.2.4 and LifePlay v4.25), I see more overlap between the module folders in LifePlay and the ones in Overhaul .zip. In particular, there's also the "vin_BDSM" folder...

No, still the way to install the Remake.
You really need to replace the files because the content works differently from the original version.

Yeah, I have to update the installation guide to add the new folders created by Vinfamy.
It will be done today!
