This mod is offered in 2 versions:
- Vanilla version (nn_HomeExpander)
- Version for the Remake only (nn_VB_HomeExpander)
Build a room:
Before you can use a room, you need to build it.To do this, select "Build a new room (HE)" when you're in your house.
A menu will then appear, offering you several construction options.
- Living room
- Kitchen
- Second bedroom
- Third bedroom
- Office room
- Indoor pool
- Outdoor pool
- Garage
Doing it yourself (if you have enough energy, fitness, etc.).
Hire workers to do the work for you, at a higher cost, but in less time...
It takes between 6 and 10 hours to build the room, depending on your choice.
If you opt for "Do it yourself", it's cheaper, takes longer, but you gain in shape, intelligence, muscles, etc.
If you build a second and/or third bedroom, you can rent it out to earn a bit of money... Or do obscene things with your tenants
Rent rooms to others
Rooms 2+3 can be rented to other people.Simply select "Manage rented rooms (HE)" from the home action menu.
If you would like a friend or relative to move into one of your rooms:
- the person must not be married
- the person must like you (relationship to player > -10)
- Chances are better if the person is dating you.
If you advertise rooms, anyone can move in.
To collect your rent, use the "Collect rental fees (HE)" action.
This action is available every week. (Or at longer intervals).
Tenants can also move in at random!
LEWD scenes and how they work
There are several lewd scenes that are triggered either randomly or by performing certain actions:- Going to the toilet
- Going to a rented room (WIP)
- Going to the kitchen (WIP)
- Being in your office (WIP)
- Being home alone
These scenes give rise to different results depending on the actor's relationship with you and his level of:
- perversion
- arousal
- masochism
If perversion and arousal are high, you're more likely to witness a sex scene, even if the person is sufficiently submissive.
Ratio, perversion and arousal statistics will steadily increase as you take on new tenants, wherever they may be.
(Rapport can also decrease if you disturb tenants too often!)
Known problems
Prob: Sleeping tenants don't sleepA: If you visit one of your tenants at night, you may get a sleep scene but the actor does something else. This is due to a bug in LifePlay where animations don't work or as expected. Vinfamy is working on it.
Prob: Random (non-HE) scenes seem to get stuck.
A: This happens in those rare moments when a Home Expander scene is running and the game engine decides to trigger, at the same time, a random event that requires the use of the scene interface.
Solution: Click on the red "Emergency" text in the bottom right-hand corner to exit the random scene.
Prob : Why do I see two "Go to the bathroom" actions?
A: The original "Go to the toilet" action is integrated into the game.
If you want to get rid of it, open the file
LifePlay\Content\Modules\vin_Base\Actions\basicneeds\go_to_the_bathroom.lpaction' file
with your text editor and delete the "home, " from the WHERE line, keeping the rest.
